Frédérique obtained a bachelor of Honors in Psychology at the Université du Québec À Montréal (UQÀM). Her undergraduate Honours thesis assessed the differential impact of COVID-19 on people with chronic disease (e.g., heart and lung disease, cancer). She just started her doctoral degree in UQÀM’s Clinical and Research Psychology program, where she is supervised by Dr. Kim Lavoie. She has a lot of experience with children since she has volunteered at the West Island Association for the Intellectually Handicapped (WIAIH) and worked as a Camp chaperone for children with special needs. Her enthusiasm and dynamic approach are appreciated from the children and the parents during French remediation sessions.
